Hazel
Introducing on behalf of a client.
Hazel is an 11-year-old Grey Welsh Mare. She was born on 03/11/2012.
Hazel is intuitive, willing to learn and a pleasure to work with. Hazel has been started under saddle, and has had a great attitude throughout the process. With an established stop, back-up, rollbacks, side-pass, pivots and collection, she has potential across several disciplines. Hazel will need a small, confident, capable rider to continue her progress, refine skills and build her confidence.
Hazel is sensitive, perceptive and very curious, with loads of potential in an experienced home. She would thrive in an environment where her intelligence is nurtured and her curiosity encouraged. She's athletic, agile, and nimble, quick on her feet and eager to be soft.
A previous owner shared that Hazel is a registered Welsh, “Kylandee Sky Song”. However, the papers for this were unfortunately never obtained. She also shared that she had acquired Hazel as an unhandled 9-year-old. In 2020, she gave birth to a buckskin foal sired by a Quarter Horse x Welsh pony.
